What is The LPGA*USGA Greater Newark Girls Golf?

Renaissance Junior Golf, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization and the parent organization of LPGA*USGA Greater Newark Girls Golf in partnership with Union County conducts programs at Galloping Hill Learning Center. Participants are taught by LPGA/PGA

instructors to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and putting. The girls are instructed in both golf and Life Skills that will benefit them off and on the course.  Our teaching staff is comprised of paid LPGA professionals and volunteer coaches and parent liaisons.  The girls are introduced to the game in a setting designed specifically for instruction.  The Learning Center has 52 stalls, 20 of which are covered and heated, 46,00 square feet of putting and chipping areas, practice bunkers and a 9-hole practice course. On course instruction on the 9-hole course is available for advanced players as well as a Pitch and Putt league at AshBrook Golf Course in June, July, and August.  Participation is based on assessment and the number of participants.
